The Rebel Kōhanga Programme

The Rebel Kōhanga Programme is an eight (8) week specially-curated programme for clients of the Ministry of Social Development interested in being their own boss. 

What's it all about?
​The Rebel Kōhanga is a specially curated 8-week deep dive into your business idea. 

The 8-weeks covers so much ground. Business can be a jigsaw of related pieces, but then how to put them together in a meaningful way is something this programme provides.

​​ This Programme is only available to eligible clients of the Ministry of Social Development (Work & Income) and is part of the Ministry's Flexi-Wage Self-Employment Pathway Programme​.
Are you eligible?

• You can check the elegibility criteria at the MSD website here
• You have a viable business idea
• You are committed to the full 8-weeks online training
• You intend to apply for MSD Flexi-Wage and Start-up Funding​

• You will be mentored by Rebel-approved mentors
• A structured and polished Business Plan
• Able to apply for MSD funding to kick-start your business
