Helen Puiri-Tuia: 2iri Collective

Helen Puiri-Tuia is the proud owner of 2iri Collective. She is a mum of 5 children and with the support of her family is in the final stages of launching her business. She did the Rebel Business School ten-day workshop Manukau South Auckland in 2019.

Helen has really maximised her learnings at the 10-day workshop; and thrived and progressed with her business. Since then, she has not only successfully created a business plan (through the Bizezi app) but also created a logo and labeling for her products.

In her own words, below Helen summarises how she has found the workshop and continued support from RBSA, for her business journey as a female entrepreneur.

2iri Collective is a family home-based business that is located in the heart of South Auckland. We create and promote natural skincare and accessories with a pop of culture that is created in small batches made in New Zealand. All our ingredients and packaging are locally sourced within New Zealand and are sustainable and reusable. Our skincare range is 100% vegan and fully certified, with a shelf life of 12 /18 months.

2iri Collective launched in May 2021 with the theme of self-care with 5 or 6 products, A foaming cleanser, Toner, Moisturiser, Facial Scrub, Serum, Lip balm and accessories such as applicator brush, headband and reusable face cloths.

This would not have been possible without the help and support of RBSA that I have been a part of for the last two years. It has given me the ability to just focus on my business daily and has given me the confidence to collaborate with other small businesses within my community. It has taken me a lot longer than I thought to launch my business due to some delays and Covid but I'm still moving forward.

I highly recommend RBSA’s ten-day workshop to anyone that is interested in starting their own business and supporting other community programmes that benefit the community as a whole.
