Our Values

Picture
Rebel Business School Tree of Values
The picture depicts, from Maori mythology... Papatūānuku (Earth Mother) and Ranginui (Sky Father) separated by Tāne Mahuta (The Tree) to let love and light in. The tree is represented by the mighty Kauri. In the sky is the Southern Cross and Matariki, both star constellations that point directly at New Zealand and resonate strongly with Kiwi's. The values will gradually be exposed in the roots, the trunk of the tree and the branches. The metaphor for small business is about Nurture (Roots), Resilience (The trunk) and the so much more (The Branches). It is also about adding life... the way energy moves from the roots to the leaves and brings oxygen to the atmosphere.

Rebel Business School has a commitment to and an understanding of the principles of the Te Tiriti O Waitangi (Treaty of Waitangi) and bi-culturalism; and to the multi-cultural richness that is Aotearoa; and a commitment to upholding these in our daily work.
The Rebel Business School Aotearoa holds the following values as inherent to its DNA. Our core values are:
  • Faith
  • Respect
  • Inclusivity
  • Integrity
  • Kindness

We live these values in a ….
  • Collaborative
  • Creative
  • Curious
  • Kia Kaha (Be brave, be strong - Courage) Loyal
  • Mindful (Empathy)
  • Nurturing (Wellness)
  • Equitable
                            ... way which promotes:
  • Resilience and Solution-Focused work ethic in a Vibrant way (Read Vibrant as Vigorous, lively, vital; colourful and fun)
