Hillary Tuason - Zelati Dessert Cafe
Zelati Dessert Cafe is the brainchild of Hilary Tausan who attended the first Kapiti Coast course in 2018. She has been involved in the family business of the Zelati gelato brand dessert from a young age. Zelati got a permanent home in Oct 2019 on the lively Left Bank Lane just off Cuba street in Wellington CBD.
Offering bespoke gelato and sorbets that has been part of Wellington hospitality scene, Hilary and her team have been creating flavours for the likes of Portlander, Hippopotamus, Pravda, The Chippery and more. "Every one of our flavours is batch-made and hand-packed from start to finish, using only real, premium ingredients at the Zelati Freezeria, our gelato and sorbet lab in Tawa," says Tuason.
