We are excited! Hope you are too!  
There is a lot of work going on here behind the scenes to make this an amazing event, focusing on helping you start your business and get it off the ground as quickly as possible.
There are some great business ideas coming through and we are feeling very excited and privileged to be helping you with your business adventure.
​Please let us know if you can no longer attend the course, however, it is ok if you have to miss a workshop or two - life happens and we get it.

What you have to know and do?

Step 1: Complete the online ​pre-course survey
​Step 2: Register for the ZOOM event Click Here. 
Step 3: Clear your email - After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
Step 4: See you online on Monday the 24th May!

What To bring?

The MAIN things you need are a smile, a willingness to learn and a great give it a go attitude - BUT there are some practical things too!
  • Pen and paper 
  • Good broadband
  • A reliable computer  ​
  • ​We will have lunch breaks each day between 12-12:30pm. Snacks are advisable but remember we can see you eat and sometimes hear you!!!! 
  • Water to hydrate during the day.

Please fill out the pre-course survey here before Monday morning - ​please save time and do it now!

online ZOOM etiquette

​These may seem obvious but here we go :-)
  • ​Join early – up to 5 minutes before the meeting start time - (you can register for the meeting at any time from now until the start of the meeting).
  • Please note the meeting start time on the Zoom invitation states 9.00am - this is to allow for the Rebel team to log in and prepare for your arrival.  When you sign in you will be placed in a virtual "waiting room" and the team will let into the meeting at 9.30am. 
  • If you haven’t used Zoom before click the link to download Zoom prior to the day of the meeting and familiarise yourself with any features you may need to use on the day – mute/unmute microphone, stop/start video, screenshare etc.
  • Have your video on unless you are experiencing connection issues.
  • Find a quiet space without interruptions / background noise.
  • Have a plain background – avoid backlight from bright windows.
  • Have good lighting on your face so you can be seen clearly.
  • Adjust your camera to be at around eye level if possible – especially take note of the angle of your laptop screen if using the built-in camera.

Blended:  The first seven days are online and the last three days (2nd-4th June) in venue at the Hawera Memorial Hall, 66 Albion St, Hawera.  
​Full Course Dates: Monday 24th May to Friday 4th June 2021
