So you have been on the PopUp Business School...

You have spent time with Alan, Simon, Henry, Jack or if you were really lucky, Liam; life may not feel quite the same afterwards!

That is a good thing!

You should have left the workshop with a head full of ideas of what to do next.  Different ways to make money, how to sell, how to build free websites, how to find customers online, how to partner with people, how to build confidence and so much more.

It is what happens next that is the most important thing.  It doesn't matter how good the course was or wasn't it is what you do with it that truly matters.

It IS over to you.

You have to make it happen.

But that doesn't mean you have to make it happen alone... Here are some ideas of what you can do next after you have finished the PopUp business School course:

1. Join uS

Need inspiration or what to ask advice?  Join the facebook group and post your questions, thoughts and ideas.  Share with us what you have been doing, what you need and more.  Entrepreneurship is not a solo sport, become part of the community and draw energy and inspiration from there: https://www.facebook.com/groups/756395891199343/

2. Sell something

The only way to make things happen is to take your idea, take your product and talk to people about it.  Package up whatever you can (idea, product or service) and get out there and talk to people that might be interested in it.  Sell it!  You will be rewarded in proportion to the intelligent action you take and how much you learn from each experiment

3. Treat it as an experiment

This is one of the best ways I know to take the pressure off and to get myself going.  Just treat it as an experiment.  For example "I don't know if my email marketing is going to work so I am going to pick 100 people, send them an email and see what I get back".  As it is an experiment it doesn't matter if it works or not you can just monitor the results and see what happens.  Or if you want to have a go at Twitter then do a Twitter experiment and send 100 tweets to random people and monitor how many replies you get and how many website hits you get.  Treat it all as an experiment and let yourself feel comfortable with mixed results

4. find someone to keep you on track

It is simple human nature that we will do more for others that we will for ourselves.  Find someone who will check to see if you have done things, tell them that you are going to do and ask them to check up on you a week later to see if it is done or not!  Get an accountability partner that will hold you to a higher standard

5. Imagine it done

Take time each morning to imagine your business exactly as you want it, how it  looks, how it works, how much you are earning, the happy customers and all the details.  This will give your brain a target each day to work towards as well as some inspiration and ideas of what to do next

6. Take Action

Just do something; ANYTHING.  The key to making progress is doing things.  Take action and make things happen.  If you do nothing then nothing will happen.  If you do something then something will change.  If you consistently do something that change will build momentum.  If you do lots every single day the rate of change will be faster.  Just please take action and report to the facebook group what you have been up to and if it works or not.  Let's all learn together and make some progress together.  Take ACTION and let us know how you get on.

7. Keep Learning and recap

We've spent ages putting our courses in to words; we want you to be able to take advantage of this for free and keep making a difference in what you do and how you connect with others. Head over to the Step-By-Step guide and go over anything you need to.
So, from all of the team at the PopUp Business School, we genuinely want you to succeed.  We want you to get where you want to get. We want you to make money, have fun and help other people. If we can be of any support in the future then let us know.  You know where to find us.rom all of the team at the PopUp Business School, we genuinely want you to succeed.  We want you to get where you want to get.
